The Zimbabwe flag design consists of a white isosceles triangle on the hoist side of the flag with a red five pointed star in the centre. Superimposed on the red star is the Zimbabwe bird in gold. The field is made up of seven horizontal stripes in green, yellow and red, centre stripe in black and then red, yellow and green again. The design was adopted in 1980 when Zimbabwe became independent from the UK.
The colours of the Zimbabwe flag are the Pan-African colours and the the soapstone bird of Great Zimabwe, which is the national emblem of the country.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
