The Yemen flag design was adopted in 1990 and consists of a tricolour design of equal sized red, white and black horizontal stripes. The flag was adopted the day that North and South Yemen were unified, May 22 1990.
Symbolically, the red is for the bloodshed of the martyrs, the white for the future being bright and black for the dark past. This design is actually the same as the Libya flags previous design from 1969 to 1972.
The World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
The flags come in a range of sizes for you to choose from, select your size from the drop down menu.
