United Nations Flag
The United Nations flag design consists of a blue field, charged with a white UN emblem in the centre. The symbol is made up of a polar azimuthal map projection of the world centered on the North Pole, surrounded by two olive branches. The design of the United Nations flag was created in 1946.
The olive branches are to symbolise peace, and the world map represents all the people and the countries of the world. White and blue are the official colours of the United Nations.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
