The Ukraine flag is a bicolour flag of blue and yellow, of two equal horizontal bands. This flag was originally adopted 1848 and then officially in 1918 by the short lived West Ukrainian People's Republic. The flag was outlawed while the Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union, and before 1949 there was no official state flag until the adoption of the flag of the Ukrainian SSR. The yellow and blue design that exists today was adopted provisionally in 1991 for official ceremonies following Independence, before being officially restored on 28th Jan 1992 by the parliament of Ukraine.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
