United Kingdom Flag (UK) (Union Jack)
The United Kingdom flag design is also called the Union Jack and also known as the Union Flag. This design was adopted in 1801 and consists of the St George red cross edged in white, on top of the Cross of St Patrick, and then both of those together are superimposed on top of the Saltire of Saint Andrew.
Saint George is the patron saint of England, Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and Saint Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland. Wales is not represented in the Union Jack as at the time of the flag being designed, Wales was a part of the Kingdom of England. The Union Jack is seen on many many flags, usually as represented in a smaller version in the upper left canton of the flag, as seen on the Australian flag.
Our United Kingdom flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
The flags come in a range of sizes for you to choose from, select your size from the drop down menu.
