Turkmenistan Flag

The Turkmenistan flag current design dates back to 1992, and was readopted in 2001 with minor changes to what the design is today. The design consists of a green field, with a vertical red stripe on the hoist side of the flag. The red stripe depicts 5 carpet guls (traditional hand woven carpets of the region) with two olive branches in gold below the carpets. The the fly side of the red stripe is a white waxing crescent moon, with 5 white stars in the upper field. The moon symbolises the hopes of the country for a shining future and the stars represent the 5 provinces of Turkmenistan.
Our Turkmenistan flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
