The Turkey flag design dates back to the 18th Century during the Ottoman Empire, and the flag was officially adopted in 1844. After the foundation of the Republic of Turkey in 1923, the state retained the flag design. In 1936, standardised proportions were introduced by the Turkish Flag Law of 1936.
The design consists of a red field with a white crescent moon and a 5 pointed white star, both slightly left of centre.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
The flags come in a range of sizes for you to choose from, select your size from the drop down menu.
