The Suriname flag design was adopted in 1975 and consists of a tricolour design. The bands run horizontally in green on the top and bottom, white bands running along the green and then a double-width red band in the centre. The red band is charged with a 5-pointed yellow star.
The star is to represent unity across all ethnic groups, the green for hope and fertility, the white for peace and justice, and the red for progress of Suriname and love.
Our Suriname flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
The flags come in a range of sizes for you to choose from, select your size from the drop down menu.
We can make flags to your specifications such as a custom design or vertical sleeve finish, please contact us for a quote.
