The Qatar flag design consists of a white band on the hoist side, separated by a serrated maroon boarder of triangles, dividing the white and maroon sides of the flag. The design of the Qatar flag was adopted in 1971, and is very similar to the flag of Bahrain.
Symbolically, the serrated edges signify Qatar's inclusion as the 9th member of the 'reconciled Emirates' of the Persian Gulf at the conclusion of the Qatari-British treaty in 1916.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
The flags come in a range of sizes for you to choose from, select your size from the drop down menu.
