Panama Flag - This flag design was adopted in 1925, and consists of a field divided into 4 rectangles. Clockwise, the first is a white field with blue star, a plain red rectangle, followed by a white field with red star, and the last is plain blue. This design was adopted after Panama gained independence from Columbia.
Symbolically, the blue and red are for the Conservatives and the Liberals, respectively. White is said to stand for peace and the stars also for the rival political parties of Panama.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
