Mexico Flag - This design was adopted in 1968 and is a tri-colour flag of green, white and red. The white centre band has the National Coat of Arms in the middle. There have been variants of this flag in use since 1821 when the first national flag was created, and the most recent changes having been made in 1968 which was a minor change to the previous version.
These colours are those of the national army and the coat of arms is based on the Aztec Symbol for Tenochtitlan (now Mexico City), the centre of the Aztec Empire and features an eagle holding a serpent in its talons and is perched ontop of a prickly pear cactus.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
