Madeira Flag - This design was adopted in 1978 and consists of a tri-colour design of blue, gold and a second blue vertical bands. In the centre of the yellow band is a red-bordered white cross (Cross of Christ). The dimensions, colours and symbolism of the flag were approved by decree of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira and its use made possible by the Portuguese Constitution, which recognised the status of Madeira regional autonomy arrangements.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
