Lesotho Flag - This flag was adopted in 2006 on the 40th anniversary of Lesotho's independence. The design consists of a triband of blue, white and green; charged with a black mokorotlo (a basotho hat) centered on the white band. The meaning of the design is peace, reflecting that the nation is peaceful internally as well as with its neighbor, South Africa.
The blue is said to represent the rain and sky, the green for prosperity and white for peace. The black mokorotlo is the national symbol of Lesotho.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
