Kuwait Flag - This flag is was adopted in 1961, and the design is of a tricolour green, white and red and a black trapezium on the hoist side of the flag. The colours used on the Kuwait flag are the Pan-Arab colours, and also have significance in their own right. Black represents the defeat of the enemy, green is for the fertile land, white for purity and red for the colour of blood on the Shiv swords.
