Kazakhstan Flag - This design was adopted in 1992 and consists of a gold sun with 32 rays above a golden eagle centered on a sky blue field. On the hoist side there is a national ornamental pattern 'koshkar-muiz' also in gold (the horns of a ram).
This flag design replaced the flag of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic. Symbolically, the gold sun has 32 rays around it, the rays are actually grains, representing grain as the basis of abundance and prosperity. The blue is the sky and water and the sun is the source of life and energy. The eagle is a very important symbol and has been used for centuries. The eagle is a sign of independence, freedom and flight to the future.
Our Kazakhstan flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
