Egyptian Flag - this is a tricolour flag of red, white and black bands with the national emblem in the middle which is the Egyptian eagle of Saladin, centered in the white band.
In 1952 when the Egyptian Free Officers toppled King Farouk in the Revolution, assigned specific meaning to each of the 3 bands. The red symbolises the Egyptians blood in the war against colonisation, the white fore the purity of the Egyptians heart and the black (placed below the white), symbolises the manner in which darkness is overcome.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
