Croatia Flag - Croatia has had numerous flag designs since 1848, 11 before the current design was adopted in 1990. The current design consists of a tricolour blue white and red flag, with the coat of arms in the centre. The colours have multiple symbolic meanings, combining the red and white of the Kingdom of Croatia, the blue and white of the Kingdom of Slavonia and blue and yellow for the Kingdom of Dalmatia. Since 1848 the tricolour has been used, and the pan-Slavic colours are widely associated with nationalism. The shield or coat of arms is the red and white checks of Croatia, and the crown is made up of shields of the various regions. From left to right they are: Croatia, Dubrovnik, Dalmatia, Istria and Slavonia.
Our Croatian flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
