Burkina Faso Flag
Burkina Faso Flag - this flag was officially adopted in 1984, after the 1983 coup that put Thomas Sankara in power. The colours of the Burkina Faso Flag are red, green and yellow represent the recent revolution, the abundance of natural riches and the guiding light of that revolution respectively. Prior to this flag being in place and the name changed to Burkina Faso, the flag of Upper Volta was used, which was as tricolour black, white and red flag.
Our Burkina Faso flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
