Ecuador Flag - Ecuador has had many different flags dating back to 1534 when it was a white flag with burgundy cross, all the way through to 1860 when the current flag was first adopted, however it was originally a plain tricolour flag. The coat of arms was added for official use in 1900. In 2009 the flag was changed to its current ratio and has been the national flag since.
The design consists of 3 primary colours, yellow blue and red. Yellow is for the crops and fertile soil, blue the ocean and skies and red for the blood spilled by the heroes who died in the name of their country and has the national coat of arms in the centre.
Our World flags are finished with a loop at the top and bottom of the flag to be used with clips to attach to the rope and run up a flag pole. Clips are included with the flag for your convenience.
The flags come in a range of sizes for you to choose from, select your size from the drop down menu.
